Of course the first step is the most important: embrace Jesus and the salvation He offers. By His blood we receive a new life and a new purpose for living. There are other steps you can take in obedience to His Word, to help you to grow as Christians and fulfill your purpose in His kingdom.

BAPTISM-a public statement of your personal commitment to Jesus, it also symbolizes the newness of your life through His death and resurrection. Baptisms are held several times throughout the year. "You were buried with Christ, and in baptism you were also raised with Christ." (Col. 2:12)

BABY DEDICATION-a public commitment by Christian parents, witnessed and supported by the church family, dedicating their child to God, and promising to raise that child up in a Godly way, according to God's Word. "I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of Him. So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord." (1 Sam. 1:27-28)

GIVING & TITHING-a step in faith, a leap in understanding that we need to give back to God what belongs to Him. It is a commandment with a promise "Test me in this...and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it." (Mal. 3:10)
