Thoroughout the year we reach out to others in our community, here are some of the ways you can participate:
Annual Outreach Events-People helping people to know God through locally based activities and events throughout the year. This year, look for our 'Bless Brockport' outreach beginning August 4 and running through August 11. Then, August 12 through August 15, we also host a Vacation Bible School at the "duck pond park" in the Village of Brockport. In the fall we play host with the '5th Quarter.' It's what happens after the game. Following our Brockport High School at-home football games, we serve up tons of food and fun and prizes.
Ongoing Outreach-Once a month, a dedicated group of people hold a little worship service in a local nursing home/assisted living facility, and share Christ's love with the wonderful seniors living there.
Pro-Life-Working with Rescue Rochester, prayer and activities are directed towards saving the unborn from abortions.
Resource Center-Like books? The R.C. is filled with all kinds of books, pamphlets, articles and hefty reference tomes. This large collection of Biblically-based information and inspiration must be maintained. It has all the makings of a comfortable library so "check it out."
We have tasted of His love and goodness! "O taste and see that the Lord is good." (Ps 34:8) We want to reach out to our community and share the love and goodness of the Lord. For more information, contact the church office.
