Finding our identity and fulfillment in Christ so we can love and serve our husbands the way Christ would have us do.
Through reading the book and looking at scripture, participants will catch God’s heart for healing. Each evening we will discuss one to two chapters and pray for healing for each other, for people in the church, and for others we know.
Come and grow with us as we seek God’s heart for His people, our lives and the campus. We aim to do college differently while being a part of something bigger.
This Fall we’ll begin a series of sermons on the Book of James and I thought it would be great to deepen that through this small group. As always, we’ll feature great snacks and an opportunity to get to know each other as men. This semester we may take a trip together to volunteer at Grace House Rochester and do some house repairs and fellowship with the men there.
Continuing to learn about prayer for inner healing. This fall’s focus will be on deliverance and spiritual warfare.
Over the course of our lives the Enemy works hard to rob us of the treasures God has set aside for us— our inheritance, strength, peace, dreams, joy, and passion. In this creative small group Bible study, there are specific biblical examples to lead you into a discovery of the ways you can reclaim what God has given you. From illustrations of God’s promise to the Shunammite woman who allowed her dream to die to how we see passion play out in the story of the prodigal son, you’ll discover the bigger picture of who we are in Christ and all He intended for us to experience.
The goal is to focus on giving our talents, time, and resources to the Lord through making “Little Dresses for Africa” (and possibly other places) and Britches for Boys (shorts). We’ll show you very simple ways to turn pillowcases into dresses for girls who have virtually nothing, including clothes. Cost is minimal: a small donation at the end for postage and handling. We will also set aside part of our meeting time for Bible study centered on various biblical reasons for this type of service to others.
Caleb Generation study by Steve Kelly of Wave Church is intended for you to come away ENCOURAGED in God’s promises, CHALLENGED in your purposes, and EXCITED about living a full second half.
*Meeting will include sharing a meal together.
(will not meet on weeks there is a church prayer meeting)
Having clear boundaries is essential to a healthy, balanced lifestyle. In other words, boundaries define who we are and who we are not. Often, Christians focus so much on being loving andunselfish that they forget their own limits and limitations. This book shows us how to set healthy boundaries with our parents, spouses, children, friends, co-workers, and even ourselves.
An exploration of the basic beliefs of Christianity and our church. It has been tailored for both new and veteran Christians. Lots of opportunity to get all your questions answered. People graduate with new insights and excitement for Jesus Christ.
